Richard began his career in 1999 with Westside Estate Agency and was made partner in 2013, having contributed close to a billion dollars in sales throughout his continued tenure with the firm. Richard enthusiastically joined Carolwood in 2022.
Much of Richard's success comes from his client-first approach, rooted in his homegrown sensibilities and personal aesthetic. Whether he’s working with high-profile figures in entertainment and music or individuals in finance and fashion, Richard has cultivated countless longstanding relationships over the years based on connection and care. Richard graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Social Sciences and Communication. Today, he lives in Brentwood with what he considers to be his proudest accomplishment: his three children that he shares with his wife, lifestyle designer Jenni Kayne. The couple’s personal homes have graced the pages of Architectural Digest and other major publications. Richard has also been featured in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Business Journal, Architectural Digest, and LA Magazine’s Real Estate All-Star List.
